Nice however I can’t seem to find a clamp to hold that onto my cage that has such a narrow profile. Everything seems oriented to Samsung t5 etc with a 35mm narrows clamp when you need a 32 mm width for the ssbrent. Any ideas!

There's a link to it in the description, but it's the 9th line in a list of 14 items with links, so if you don't already know the name to search for, it's pretty hard to find. You'd think a video that's dedicated to reviewing a single product would have that product's name in the title!

Same issue, I have a Mac mini M2, trying to record on OBS but it just doesn't record above 4k30 or 1440p60hz. By the way this Elgato 4K X doesn't support Dolby Vision on my Xbox Series X, no signal but it works with HDR. I'm also disappointed that it can't record more than 1440p60hz with HDR. Hard to justify 250€!

Hi David i have been following your videos rather religiously regarding Elgato 4K X issues with silicon macs. But still i went ahead with purchasing 4k x. I have M1 Macbook pro 14 inch base model. It might sound stupid but my only intention to buy 4k x is to play ps5 games on my mac, not interested in streaming, though many people dislike playing with the preview window. Since you have already used the 10 gbps firmware before the sonoma 14.5 suck up i have few questions. 1) Have you found any latency difference between 10 gbps and 5 gbps in the OBS preview? 2) is there any difference in the OBS preview smoothness and latency if you plug your mac to power or without power? I am seriously waiting for the 10 gbps and rec 709 firmware update though. Elgato guys need to live up to the reputation if that matters.

It works with my PC outputting 4K60 (UHD) to my iPad Pro M4. Also, on the Elgato site they specifically state "DO NOT update firmware for any products at any time, unless Elgato Technical Support tells you to do so for specific troubleshooting purposes. Ignoring this can potentially permanently damage your device."

Listen you only need 300-1000rpm max above that you dont get significantly lower temps maybe a max of -2 -3 This ! And its nonsense what your talking about the cooler actually works better then 99%of coolers out there in the 300-1000rpm range absolutely buy this cooler if you want to lower your temps cheers!

The outdoor antenna will lose signal because of the length. That’s why you have high ping. An amplifier would do great job.
